We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Engineering Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development and implementation of medical devices and equipment. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within the budget, and meet all regulatory requirements. This position is a will work remotely and collaborate with healthcare professionals, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that medical equipment is properly selected, installed and maintained.
- Manage the development and implementation of medical devices and equipment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all regulatory requirements.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete and up to date.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate regularly with clinical staff teams to ensure that biomedical equipment, systems, and devices meet the standard of care for the required clinical need/s.
- Ensure that all medical devices and equipment meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to clinical staff and end-users.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in medical device technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in medical device development and project management
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices
- Knowledge of medical device design and development processes.
- Knowledge or experience with medical device testing and validation.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass Federal background and drug screen.

Safety Requirements:
- Maintain a safe working environment for self and others if they come in contact within the biomed area in accordance with the facility’s policies
- Must follow OSHA guidelines in regard to blood borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, radiation, sharp instruments and/or tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices
- Ontime completion of safety trainings assignments
- Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot & cold ranges of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish colors
- Must be able be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely
