Base Salary: $60,000 - $150,000 + Uncapped Commission
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Sales Executive to drive new business growth across our transportation and logistics services. This is an outstanding opportunity for a true sales hunter who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and growing a profitable portfolio of customers.
The ideal candidate has an active, transferable book of business, a proven track record in freight brokerage or 3PL sales, and the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships. You'll have the support of an experienced operations team, allowing you to focus on what you do best: selling, growing accounts, and maximizing your earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities throughout North America.
- Leverage your existing network and transferable book of business to produce immediate revenue.
- Prospect new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Build, manage, and expand long-term relationships with shippers and key decision-makers.
- Identify customer transportation challenges and develop customized logistics solutions.
- Present the company's transportation and supply chain capabilities to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful shipment execution.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance customer needs with company profitability.
- Grow existing customer accounts by identifying additional transportation opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Stay informed on market trends, carrier capacity, and industry developments to better serve customers.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of freight brokerage, logistics, or 3PL sales experience.
- An active, transferable book of business is required.
- Proven success generating new business and growing customer accounts.
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for business development.
- Experience selling transportation and logistics services across one or more freight modes, including FTL, LTL, intermodal, drayage, flatbed, refrigerated, parcel, or specialized transportation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of transportation, freight brokerage, and supply chain solutions.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
