We are seeking an experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic property management team. In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing comprehensive tours of available units and community amenities to showcase the property's best features.
- Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management tools such as MRI, ensuring compliance with all legal and Fair Housing regulations.
- Conduct thorough tenant screening, including background checks, credit reports, and verification of income.
- Must be willing to obtain a PA Real Estate License within 6 months of hire date.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lease contracts, legal requirements related to landlord-tenant law, and property management policies to advise clients effectively.
- Handle client communication via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and clarity; resolve conflicts promptly using conflict management techniques.
- Assist with property marketing efforts by upselling available units and amenities to prospective tenants while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Collaborate with team members on leasing strategies, budgeting considerations, and property maintenance coordination to optimize occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficiency in property management software such as MRI, Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms for lease management and data entry.
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations and related legal administrative experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across multiple channels; strong phone etiquette is essential.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to upsell units effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Experience managing lease or rental agreements along with contracts related to property leasing; familiarity with property management tools is preferred.
- Ability to handle conflict resolution efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor; experience in conflict management is a plus.
- Knowledge of property management operations including facilities management, property maintenance coordination, budgeting, and client relationship management.
- Office experience with data entry, filing systems, and general administrative tasks such as record keeping and document filing.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
