Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Repair or replace components of the powertrain, including engines and transmissions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical documents related to automotive systems.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license is required.
