Job Summary
Join our compassionate team as a Part-Time CNA Caregiver serving Weatherford and surrounding areas! Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Support patients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory care requirements.
- Use patient transfer methods safely, including Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices; ensure proper patient handling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks like laundry and meal preparation while adhering to infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure personalized care plans are followed and needs are met.
- Follow all home health care assistance guidelines, including hospice or palliative care procedures when applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent caregiving credentials.
- Proven experience working with geriatric patients or in assisted living settings; experience in nursing homes or long-term care is highly valued.
- Familiarity with home health agency operations, home & community care regulations, and documentation practices using EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior promptly.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities-related caregiving is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks required for patient transfer and mobility assistance.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration while maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
