Overview:
Manhattan Medical Arts is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their multi-specialty practice. The physician will provide inpatient services in an office-based setting in Manhattan, New York. Responsibilities:
1. Examine patients and assess their medical condition.
2. Explain preventative methods and educate patients about their condition.
3. Diagnose and evaluate patients with heart-related conditions.
4. Order, analyze and interpret EKGs.
5. Order and interpret laboratory tests.
6. Order medications, imaging, and medical devices as needed.
7. Conduct appropriate follow-up visits to ensure the appropriate level of care.
8. Accept and care for indigent and clinic patients in a manner consistent with compassion and ethical care.
9. Lead the delivery of quality patient care services meeting or exceeding quality, patient and employee safety, patient satisfaction, and regulatory standards in compliance with local, state, and federal rules. Meet all Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
Leadership/Professionalism:
Demonstrate transparency and integrity in interactions with physicians and staff, promoting trust in the institutional and section leadership.
Provide appropriate advocacy for the needs of patients, physicians, and staff.
Communicate and support practice goals and objectives.
Promote and demonstrate, by example, the importance of professionalism in all activities of physicians and staff.
Qualifications :
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with modern diagnostic and treatment techniques.
- Licensed Physician in the state of New York.
- Valid DEA.
- Proficient computer and EMR (Athena Health) skills.
