SkillSetGroup is seeking a Fabricator / Assembler I to join a growing aerospace manufacturing company in Irvine, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Training is provided, making this a great fit for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, or previous assembly experience. This is a 1st shift, Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a consistent schedule and every other Friday off.

Schedule (9/80 Work Schedule)
- Monday-Thursday: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (every other Friday)
- Every other Friday off
Responsibilities
- Assemble cable and wire harness components following written work instructions.
- Measure, cut, strip, and prepare wire for assembly.
- Use hand tools to crimp connectors and complete mechanical assemblies.
- Perform repetitive bench assembly while maintaining quality and production standards.
- Read rulers and basic measuring devices to ensure accurate assembly.
- Complete soldering tasks when required.
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and workmanship.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation while following safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous cable or electronic assembly experience is preferred but not required.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive work accurately.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must meet ITAR requirements and be able to provide proof of U.S. Person status (U.S. Birth Certificate, U.S. Passport, or Permanent Resident Card).
