About Our Organization: TransNet (Suburban Transit, Inc).is the transportation provider for Montgomery County’s Senior Shared Ride Program through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). Additional programs include the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP), and the Persons with Disabilities Program (PwD), as well as corporate and educational shuttle service.
Marketing Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains Constant Contact and SurveyMonkey accounts
- Assists in creating marketing content, including social media posts, newsletters, training and promotional materials.
- Monitors and interacts with social media accounts that TransNet follows, and collects relevant information about events, programs and news.
- Assists the marketing department with administrative tasks.
Work Hours: This is a full-time, onsite position, M-F 8 am – 4 pm, with occasional required availability for weekend events as scheduled.
Marketing Assistant Qualifications and Skills:
- Positive attitude, initiative and appetite for learning opportunities
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing projects
- Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED (College coursework preferred)
- Moderate experience and aptitude with Microsoft Office
- Must have a high comfort level with public speaking, presentations and interactions in a tradeshow setting.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In-Design) is a plus.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
