Garvey Hyundai of Plattsburgh is hiring an experienced Lube Technician / Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service department. If you have experience performing oil changes, tire rotations, vehicle inspections, and routine automotive maintenance, we want to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Automotive Technician, Oil Change Technician, or Entry-Level Mechanic looking to grow their career with a reputable dealership that invests in training, advancement, and employee success.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
- Complete tire rotations and basic tire services
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
- Check and top off vehicle fluids
- Replace filters, wiper blades, and other maintenance items
- Assist with basic automotive repair and service tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures
A qualified candidate will have:
- General automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive a manual (standard transmission) vehicle
- Must provide your own basic tools
- Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Current New York State Inspector License required
