Position Summary
The Senior Legal Ethics Facilitator is responsible for planning, facilitating, and supporting the delivery of ethical decision making training for a Senior Leadership Cohort Program. Working closely with Government leadership, the facilitator creates an engaging, learner-centered environment that develops high-performing civilian leaders capable of leading organizational transformation, improving mission outcomes, and strengthening leadership capacity.
The facilitator serves as both an instructor and leadership coach, guiding participants through experiential learning activities, facilitated discussions, leadership assessments, action learning projects, and developmental exercises that challenge participants to strengthen self-awareness, enhance leadership effectiveness, and apply newly acquired leadership competencies in their daily work environments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years’ experience as an attorney and a facilitator in organization and leader development at multiple levels of the federal government and private organizations; facilitated a class with the same or similar content
- Expertise: Design and deliver training that explores the psychological factors that influence ethical decision-making and leadership behavior in organizations; Examine how individual values, emotions, organizational culture, and social pressures, can shape ethical judgments and actions, often in ways that are not apparent
- Education/Certifications: Law degree (JD)
