Position Summary:
The Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily service delivery and staff support within OneWell of California LLC’s Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) programs. This role ensures that services are delivered in a safe, compliant, and person-centered manner in accordance with California Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Title 17 regulations, Regional Center requirements, and OneWell Health Care policies. The Program Supervisor serves as a key operational and compliance support to field staff while acting as a liaison between individuals served, families, Regional Centers, and internal leadership.
Position Scope:
The Program Supervisor provides operational oversight of assigned programs, individuals served, and direct support staff. The role includes staff coordination, documentation review, service monitoring, and incident follow-up. While the Program Supervisor provides guidance, coaching, and performance feedback, this position does not: have independent authority to hire, terminate, or issue final disciplinary actions.
Key Responsibilities:
The Program Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centered service delivery; maintaining staff compliance with care plans and regulatory requirements; ensuring accurate and timely documentation; and maintaining ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders, while responding promptly to service, safety, or compliance concerns. This role may also support onboarding and shadowing of new staff, assist with training initiatives and refreshers, participate in care team meetings and Regional Center reviews, help management with operational reporting, and provide after-hours or on-call support as assigned.

- HIPAA and confidentiality laws
- California Labor Code and wage/hour laws
- OneWell Health Care policies and procedures
Confidentiality:
This position requires access to protected health information (PHI), employee records, and sensitive operational data. The Program Supervisor must maintain strict confidentiality at all times and comply with HIPAA, state privacy laws, and OneWell confidentiality policies. Unauthorized disclosure may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Documentation Requirements:
Required documentation responsibilities include:
- EVV and service note verification
- Incident and special incident reports
- ISP/IPP compliance documentation
- Staff performance and observation records
- Timesheet and attendance verification
All documentation must be completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with regulatory standards.
Certifications:
Required:
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Preferred or as assigned:
- CPI, Pro-ACT, or equivalent behavioral intervention training
Education:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Experience:
Required:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in IDD services or direct support roles
Preferred:
- Supervisory or lead experience in community-based services
- Experience working with Regional Centers and Title 17 programs
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with EVV systems and electronic documentation
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, reporting tools)
- Ability to navigate internal HR and scheduling systems
Languages:
English proficiency (spoken and written) required. Bilingual skills are a plus, depending on program needs.
Driver License:
Valid California driver’s license required. Must maintain an acceptable driving record. Reliable transportation required.
Travel Requirement:
This is a community-based role requiring regular travel to: Individual homes Program sites Community locations Regional Center meetings.
