Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Tele-health Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations via telehealth systems.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state and federal regulations, including DEA guidelines for controlled substances.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and follow-up strategies.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Manage urgent care cases involving acute pain management, triage decisions, and emergency response protocols remotely.
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and sterile processing when necessary within scope of practice.
- Stay current with clinical research developments and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy laws to ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in advanced practice nursing.
- Proven telehealth experience demonstrating proficiency with telemedicine platforms and remote patient management tools.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic evaluation, and pharmacology.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10).
- Critical care experience preferred—especially ICU or emergency medicine—along with hospital or trauma center background.
- Ability to perform physical examinations virtually while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality.
- Excellent client communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to case management and health coaching.

Pay: $65.00 - $170.00 per hour
