Job Title: Assembler I
Location: Dexter, MI 48130
Shift Availability:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Assembler I to perform a variety of assembly tasks involving electronic and/or mechanical components. The ideal candidate will work from detailed instructions, diagrams, and production guidelines to assemble, modify, inspect, and test assemblies and subassemblies while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components, including modules, boards, panels, frames, cables, and related assemblies.
- Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written/verbal instructions to complete assembly tasks.
- Set up initial layouts and utilize hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws as required.
- Perform continuity checks on work-in-process and completed assemblies.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
- Perform disassembly, modification, rework, and reassembly of assemblies and subassemblies based on specifications.
- Assist with testing of prototype or experimental assemblies under simulated operating conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety and quality procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Experience using basic hand tools and/or power tools preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new processes.

- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Location: Dexter, Michigan 48130
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
