American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an evening shift travel assignment requiring WA State Radiologic Technologist Certification and ARRT RT(R)(CT) registration.

Acute care hospital CT Scan department
-
Performs CT exams with and without power contrast injections
-
Uses PACS for image archiving and HIS/RIS for patient and image documentation
-
Schedule: 10:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Friday through Sunday

On-call every Thursday night and every 8 weekends
-
13-week contract

WA State Radiologic Technologist Certification required
-
ARRT RT(R)(CT) registration required
-
License required if applicable
-
BLS (HCP level) required
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
-
Proficiency with PACS and HIS/RIS systems
-
Proficient in starting IVs and administering contrast media
-
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
-
Ability to perform frequent and prolonged standing and walking
-
Ability to lift, position, push, and transfer patients
-
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
-
Performs CT exams following Radiologist protocols, applying appropriate positioning, collimation, and automatic exposure control techniques

Monitors patient condition and ensures safe transport, transfer, and positioning throughout the exam process
-
May serve as a mentor to students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs
-
May be assigned on-call standby shifts as needed by the department
-
HIPAA compliance is required for handling confidential patient information
-
Completes facility-specific CT modality orientation upon arrival
