Role Description
We are hiring for a full-time Garde Manger | Expo | Line Cook position at our on-site location in Shreveport, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for food preparation, plating, and ensuring menu items are presented with precision and consistency. Additional responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, organizing and expediting orders, and collaborating closely with kitchen staff to meet quality standards and meal execution timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Garde Manger and line cook techniques, including food preparation, presentation, and plating
Experience in maintaining organization and efficiency as an Expo, ensuring accurate and timely food service
- Knowledge of culinary methods, food safety standards, and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and demonstrate attention to detail
- Experience in fine dining or a similar culinary setting is an advantage
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred; culinary school training is a plus
