Join Sentry Event Services as a Gate Security Officer at the Inkarceration Music Festival, held on the grounds of the historic Ohio State Reformatory.

Gate Security staff serve as the first point of contact for thousands of festival guests each day. Your role is to ensure that all attendees enter safely, efficiently, and in compliance with festival policies. Your energetic presence and vigilant eye will ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all attendees.
This position is ideal for individuals who are professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a high-traffic festival environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guest screening, including bag checks and wanding/magnetometer assistance
- Maintain orderly entry lines and support smooth guest flow into the venue
- Enforce prohibited-item guidelines and notify supervisors of any issues
- Verify credentials for designated access areas
- Provide friendly and accurate directions, guidance, and customer assistance
- Monitor gate areas and maintain awareness of crowd conditions
- Report safety or security concerns promptly to supervision
This is a physically active, customer-facing position requiring professionalism, situational awareness, and the ability to stand for long periods outdoors in summer conditions.
Special License or Requirements:
All Employees MUST OBTAIN a BCI Background check/ fingerprints & have them submitted into PISGS, as well as provide all personal information to be submitted into company roster prior to working. ( Reciept to be presented for fee & will be reimbursed in pay).
Shift Lengths:
Shifts range from 12–15 hours per day based on gate operations. Day shifts (flexibility allows for you to request the days that fit your schedule).
Pay Rate: $17 p/h
