Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to identify a Grants Accountant who wants their work to directly support meaningful community programs.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll manage a portfolio of grants and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting program success.
Core responsibilities include:
Preparing and posting journal entries related to grant activity
Performing account reconciliations and ensuring timely general ledger accuracy
Managing financial tracking and reporting for assigned grant programs
Supporting monthly financial reporting , including fund-level income statements
Assisting with budget vs. actual analysis and partnering with program leaders
Maintaining grant documentation and supporting audit and compliance efforts
Collaborating across accounting and operational teams

What You Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field with strong accounting coursework)
Solid understanding of core accounting fundamentals (debits/credits, journal entries, reconciliations)
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Dependability and consistency in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred:
Experience in nonprofit and/or grant accounting
Exposure to fund accounting or multi-entity environments
Experience with accounting systems
