Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Tax professional to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is designed for an individual currently working in public accounting who wants more autonomy and a clear path to advancement. You will handle complex tax compliance, contribute to strategic planning, and work directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.

Conduct tax research and analysis on complex compliance issues.

Act as a primary point of contact for clients to gather data and resolve inquiries.

Mentor and review the work of junior tax associates.

Identify tax planning opportunities to minimize client liabilities.
Qualifications
-
2 plus years of recent experience in public accounting (tax department).

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Active CPA candidate tracking toward licensure (CPA license not required at hire).

Strong familiarity with tax software (e.g., UltraTax, GoSystem, or CCH ProSystem).

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
