Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies to support ongoing wellness
- Maintain accurate records of each session, including treatment details and client progress
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or questions during sessions
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to massage therapy and pain management
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent client communication skills
- Ability to assess patient needs through detailed client evaluation and adapt techniques accordingly
- Knowledge of occupational health practices to support workplace wellness programs
- CPR certification and commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times
- Previous med spa or medical setting experience is highly desirable for providing specialized care
- Passion for customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters trust and comfort
