Job Overview
Rotate between food running, bussing, and barback. Running food, bussing tables and helping the bartenders maintain a clean and stocked environment. You will be in one position on any given night.
Duties
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Assist with bussing duties by removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware to keep dining areas tidy
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing as needed
- Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverage stations to ensure smooth service flow
- Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing needs promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures will be taught
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and engage with guests effectively
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus for processing orders and payments
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a lively environment
