Job Overview
Our clients count on the same caregiver showing up — every shift, on time. If that's who you are, we want to build a long-term home for you here.
At Home Helpers Home Care, our seniors and their families depend on caregivers they can trust and count on week after week. We're not looking to fill a slot for a few weeks — we're looking for dependable people who want a steady role, a consistent schedule, and clients who genuinely become part of their week.
If you take pride in keeping your word, showing up when you say you will, and treating older adults with patience and respect, you'll fit right in.
What you'll do
Care for the same clients regularly, building real relationships and trust
Assist with daily living and personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
Provide companionship, prepare meals, and help with light housekeeping
Give medication reminders and transport clients to appointments
Notice and report changes in how a client is doing
What makes you a great fit
You have a track record of showing up reliably and on time
You're patient and even-tempered — older adults can be slow, repetitive, or have hard days, and you meet that with calm
You're looking for steady, long-term work, not a short-term stopgap
You can work independently and take initiative
Experience with senior, dementia, or home care is a plus (we'll train the right person)
What we offer
Up to $17/hour with consistent scheduling and paths to full-time + overtime
Paid mileage, paid time off, paid sick time
401(k) and retirement plan options
Caregiver recognition and bonus programs
Virtual health and mental-health support benefits (eligibility applies)
A team that actually backs you up
Requirements
21 or older, high school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance and registration
Clear background check and acceptable driving record
Available at least 20 hours/week, including one weekend shift every other weekend and some holidays
Willing and able to assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, and toileting (required)
A note on commitment: Our clients are most hurt by caregivers who leave after a few weeks. We invest in people who want to stay. If you're ready to commit to clients who'll come to rely on you, apply today — we'd love to meet you.
