Duties
- Greet customers and visitors warmly, establishing a positive first impression
- Handle retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems with precision and speed
- Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Assist with inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support supervising staff in daily operations and customer service initiatives
- Maintaining a clean an organized work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales transactions is beneficial
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Health and TAM card is required for this position
