Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready and maintained according to food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the truck’s kitchen and serving areas, including bussing tables and food handling
- Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures
- Help with setup, breakdown, and daily maintenance of the food truck to ensure efficient operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Culinary experience or background working in a café or retail grocery store is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to serving customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
