Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on commercial and industrial job sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various construction environments.
- Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues, including low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Support the team in adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work processes.
- Help with the installation of wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize risks on construction sites.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles, including low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience on construction sites is a plus; knowledge of frame carpentry is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment while working as part of a team.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
