Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all hotel facilities equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building interior components.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using hand tools, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conduct electrical work such as wiring, circuit repairs, and electrical equipment maintenance using tools like ohmmeters and other testing devices.
- Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and ensuring optimal operation for guest comfort.
- Execute carpentry tasks including repairs to furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, and interior walls; perform maintenance painting as needed to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water supply lines to ensure proper functioning throughout the property.
- Supervise or assist with facilities equipment maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols and schematics.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and respond promptly to guest requests or urgent repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in accordance with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes during all maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building repair roles within a hospitality or residential setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools for diverse repair tasks.
- Demonstrated electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical equipment and wiring systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC system repair and routine servicing techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for complex systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance including repairs of pipes, fixtures, and water supply lines.
- Experience with welding and carpentry work to handle various repair projects efficiently.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred for those overseeing maintenance teams or projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members.

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
