Job Summary
Dawn Habitat LLC is seeking a qualified Administrator / Residential Habilitation Professional (QIDP) to support the development and operation of an Idaho Residential Habilitation Agency serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Dawn Habitat LLC is currently in the pre-certification stage. Initial responsibilities will include certification preparation, regulatory readiness, policy implementation, staff preparation, and development of systems necessary for Residential Habilitation services. Full service operations are contingent upon Agency certification.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Idaho Residential Habilitation, developmental disability services, Medicaid/HCBS requirements, or similar community-based services.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and professional oversight for the Agency's Residential Habilitation program.
- Assist with preparation for Idaho Department of Health and Welfare certification.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable Idaho Residential Habilitation, Medicaid, and HCBS requirements.
- Assist with implementation of Agency policies, procedures, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance systems.
- Provide professional oversight of participant services and person-centered supports.
- Review Plans of Service, Implementation Plans, participant progress documentation, and other required service records.
- Provide supervision and guidance to Direct Service Staff.
- Participate in staff orientation, training, competency development, and performance monitoring.
- Promote participant health, safety, dignity, rights, choice, and independence.
- Review incidents, service concerns, and corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate appropriately with participants, guardians, case managers, healthcare providers, and other members of participant support teams.
- Assist the Agency in preparing for certification reviews, inspections, and regulatory oversight.
- Maintain required administrative and professional documentation.
Qualifications
- Must meet applicable Idaho Department of Health and Welfare qualification requirements for the position(s) performed.
- Relevant education and professional experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Appropriate administrative, supervisory, and/or professional experience applicable to Residential Habilitation services.
- Ability to provide documentation verifying education, professional experience, licenses or credentials, as applicable.
- Knowledge of person-centered planning, participant rights, health and safety, service documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to successfully complete applicable criminal history and background-check requirements.
Preferred Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Idaho Residential Habilitation services.
- Previous Administrator, QIDP, Residential Habilitation Professional, or similar leadership role.
- Idaho Department of Health and Welfare certification requirements.
- Medicaid and HCBS requirements.
- Implementation Plans and participant progress monitoring.
- Direct Service Staff supervision and training.
- Quality assurance, incident management, and corrective action processes.
Employment Arrangement
This position is initially being offered as a contract opportunity during the Agency's pre-certification and startup period. Responsibilities and compensation will be negotiated based on the candidate's qualifications, availability, and scope of work. The working arrangement may be reevaluated as Dawn Habitat LLC completes certification and begins service operations.
Pay: $62,400.00 - $83,200.00 per year
