Steel Fabricator Applicants will not be considered without meeting the defined requirements.
Must have 5 years of experience in Welding and Fabrication.
Must possess the physical ability to perform all essential job functions for the Steel Fabricator position.
Experience in the concrete pipe industry a plus.
Starting pay will be based on the candidate's skills & experience.
- Safely set up and operate welding machines and other shop equipment
- Join together metal pieces with welding machines that use the MIG process
- Good, Consistent Welds
- Correctly Grind Tacks and Welds
- Fabricate carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other metals working from drawings and written instructions
- Position and fit parts to weld
- Cut parts to correct size
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to fabricate parts accurately
- Must be able to read tape measure and pi tape
- Operate most machinery in shop
- Fabricate forms to correct sizes
- Perform tasks with no supervision
- Independent Quality Control of Products Fabricated
- Maintain standards of safety in the work environment
Positions are available for day shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
