Account Success Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Account Success Manager to drive customer success and serve as the primary advocate for our clients. You will develop long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
The role spans the full customer lifecycle — from participating in product design to create tools customers need, to working with Marketing to attract the right leads, to supporting Sales in converting them into high-value clients. Through onboarding and training, you will ensure all customers are fully engaged and realizing the value they expect. At every point, you will collect, analyze, and act on data to make each customer's experience seamless and consistent.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your assigned customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Project manage customer activations to ensure new customers go live as quickly as possible
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Proactively engage with customers to ensure they are leveraging our solutions to their fullest extent
- Train end-users and hiring managers on best practices for driving and managing the recruiting process
- Identify upsell opportunities while collaborating with Sales and Operations to ensure growth attainment
- Communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with high-severity requests and issue escalations as needed
- Successfully manage and mentor a team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in customer success and account management
- 1–2 years of industry experience in Background Checks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders up to the executive level
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Demonstrated ability to increase customer satisfaction and retention
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to changing requirements
- Metrics-driven with a focus on key performance indicators
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Lessonly, Loom)
- Technically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate new technology
- Proven experience in a B2B Enterprise SaaS company (cloud-based preferred)
- 3+ years in a customer-facing role (Customer Success, Business Development, or Account Management)
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Nice to Have
- Basic exposure to HTML or the Adobe Creative Suite
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Local to Miami preferred; remote candidates will be considered for the right fit
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $40,000 base plus commission and bonus earning potential
