Catalina Sea Spa is seeking a full-time Licensed Massage Therapist who is excited to relocate to beautiful Catalina Island and become part of our close-knit team. We offer a consistent five-day work schedule, including Saturdays with Sundays off, housing options for applicants relocating to the island, and an established clientele. Compensation & Benefits
- Now offering 35% commission (new higher rate) plus tips
- Typical earnings: $4,000–$5,500+ per month, plus cash tips
- Commission-based position (no hourly wage)
- Therapists typically average 3–5 massages per day
- Services generally generate approximately $50–$54.25 commission per massage when booked
- Sundays off – the spa is closed
Housing Available
Housing on Catalina Island is limited and highly competitive. We offer housing options for therapists relocating to the island.
Shared Room – $700/month
- Fully furnished female-only shared housing
- Utilities included
- Approximately $27 per day
Private Room – $1,350/month
- Private bedroom within shared housing
- Utilities included
The recently renovated apartment features abundant natural light, a modern kitchen, a marble bathroom, a private outdoor courtyard, and is conveniently located just two blocks from the beach.
Requirements
- Graduate of a massage therapy program (or graduating soon)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Willingness to relocate to Catalina Island
- Availability to work Saturdays
