Responsibilities
- Ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
- Transport freight loads safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, route details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly
- Manage route driving efficiently to optimize delivery schedules and customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding load status, route changes, or potential delays
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Driver's License (Non CDL)
- Clean driving record preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo transport
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules
