Overview
At PrimeTime Center Day Program for Developmentally Disabled Adults our goal is to guide, support and nurture our 21 and over clients to realize their potential in work, social skills, and life.
This vital role involves overseeing daily STEM operations, including Robo Dog, 3D Printers, and Hydroponics. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a collaborative environment that promotes discovery and learning.
Duties
- Design, implement, modify and evaluate STEM initiatives and curriculum
- Supervise staff and students, providing guidance on procedures, protocols, and technical techniques.
- Use technology to promote learning, creativity and collaboration.
- Maintain STEM lab equipment and immediately report equipment issues to the Director.
- Assist with basic facility maintenance to ensure a clean and attractive STEM lab environment.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects and communicate these objectives to the learners.
- Deliver STEM oriented instruction through project based learning methods.
- Guide learners in activities designed to promote intellectual, and social growth.
- Teach learners to work collaboratively/creatively to solve problems .
- Complete daily documentation related to participant ISP strategies/outcomes.
Qualifications
- An Associate’s Degree in the field of education or a related field.
- Willingness to work at all three PrimeTime Center locations: Eatontown, NJ; Carteret, NJ; Brick, NJ
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
- Ability to integrate multiple facets of technology to enhance learning and instruction.
- Ability to apply science/math concept knowledge to real life learning.
- Ability to be flexible based upon program needs.
- Ability to work independently with little direction.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
