Primary Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor broadcast, studio, and production equipment during live and recorded programming.
Assist in maintaining broadcast systems, control room equipment, audio/video systems, and transmission facilities.
Troubleshoot routine technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineering staff.
Perform equipment inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance activities.
Support studio setup and technical preparation for broadcasts, recordings, and special events.
Monitor signal quality and equipment performance to help ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations.
Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of new broadcast and production equipment.
Works with supervisor to be familiar with the latest/new technology
Operates computers
Completes tasks accurately and independently prior to deadline, in according with editorial and production priorities
Functions as effective member of a team
Other related duties as assigned
