Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, upselling menu items, and providing excellent customer service.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiers’ duties and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with food stocking, bussing tables, and maintaining a clean dining environment to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Follow all sanitation protocols, including proper food storage, sanitation of work surfaces, and waste disposal to ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Previous experience in cashiering or serving in a restaurant or café setting is advantageous.
- Basic kitchen experience along with knowledge of food industry standards for cleanliness and safety.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
