Danz Jewelers is a luxury custom jewelry house located in downtown Lodi, specializing in bespoke bridal, fine gold work, and couture‑level craftsmanship. We are expanding our internal production capabilities, including casting support, 3D printing, laser engraving, and advanced custom fabrication.
We are hiring Bench Jewelers at all skill levels — from new graduates ready to grow, to experienced jewelers, to master‑level artisans seeking a long‑term home in a high‑end environment.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Bench Jeweler who takes pride in their craft and wants to contribute to both our retail custom shop and our growing internal production workflow. Responsibilities will vary based on experience level, with opportunities to grow into advanced fabrication, casting support, and custom manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, depending on experience:
Core Bench Work
- Fabricate and assemble fine jewelry pieces
- Perform high‑quality repairs (sizing, soldering, prong work, restoration)
- Execute secure, clean stone setting (prong, bezel, channel, pavé, etc.)
- Polish and finish pieces to luxury‑house standards
Manufacturing & Casting Support
- Assist with casting preparation and post‑cast cleanup
- Support 3D printing, laser engraving, and production workflows
- Collaborate with designers on custom builds and production timelines
- Participate in quality control for both retail and internal production
Shop Standards
- Maintain a clean, organized bench
- Follow safety and production protocols
- Communicate clearly with the team on timelines and project needs
Required Skills & Experience
Entry‑Level / New Graduates
- Completion of a bench program or equivalent training
- Strong foundational skills in soldering, fabrication, and basic setting
- Willingness to learn and grow in a luxury environment
Experienced Jewelers
- 2+ years professional bench experience
- Confident stone setting and goldsmithing skills
- Ability to work independently on custom and repair work
Master Jewelers
- Advanced fabrication, setting, and finishing abilities
- Experience with complex custom builds
- Ability to mentor or support junior bench jewelers (optional)
CAD experience (Matrix/MatrixGold/Rhino) is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
