Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques
- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Conduct floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
- Ensure proper sanitation of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas following health standards
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture, equipment, or supplies safely and efficiently
- Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
- Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling and janitorial procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and outdoor maintenance
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift
- Familiarity with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities in various settings
- Experience with housekeeping management systems or protocols is a plus
