Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and care
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable nail care services
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
- Execute advanced techniques like nail art, color theory applications, treatments when applicable
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction, address questions, and promote retail products or additional services through upselling
- Keep detailed records of services provided and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized after each use
- Stay updated on current trends in nail care, hair styling, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and other beauty treatments
Skills
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in nail care techniques such as acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail art designs
- Strong understanding of salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
- Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on client satisfaction and retail sales strategies
- Solid retail math skills for upselling products effectively while maintaining professionalism
- Good communication skills to educate clients about nail care routines and available treatment
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain quality work and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
