Luxor Staffing is hiring a Sewing Machine Operator paying $16 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sew and assemble banners of various sizes using a treadle-style sewing machine
- Work with different fabric types, including wool, silk, cotton, and linen
- Measure, align, and stitch materials according to specifications
- Inspect finished banners to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain sewing equipment and keep work area clean and organized
- Follow production schedules and meet output targets
- Adhere to safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of sewing experience (industrial or manual sewing preferred)
- Experience operating a treadle-style or similar sewing machine
- Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to handle banners of different sizes and weights
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
