Overview
I am seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support to my daughter who is a young adult and in need of assistance. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing her quality of life by offering personalized care in our home or community settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe environment, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist her with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with nutritious meals tailored to individual needs.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Monitor patients’ health and report any changes or concerns to mom.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Assist with mobility and lifting when necessary to ensure client comfort and safety.
- Observe and document client daily living and progress regularly.
- Support clients with medication and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
- Facilitate social interactions by accompanying clients on outings or appointments as well as doctor/hospital visits.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques .
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment for clients.
- Skills in meal assistance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy, patience, and communication.
- Physical ability to assist clients with lifting and mobility as needed.
