Sanitation Worker
Overview:
Join our team as a Sanitation Worker at Cream Co Meats. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility.
Duties:
- Perform sanitation duties in accordance with company standards and procedures
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, work areas, and facilities
- Handle chemicals and cleaning agents safely and effectively
- Dispose of waste and trash properly
- Follow sanitation schedules to ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in food production or processing environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Familiarity with custodial duties is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Willingness to work in varying conditions, including cold storage environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting
