Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated CDL Driver to join our team. Responsible for the loading and unloading of packaged finished goods on many types of equipment to ensure all customers receive timely, accurate and damage-free products. The ideal candidate is experienced in commercial driving and committed to maintaining safety standards on the road.
Duties
· Responsible for pre-inspecting and safely operating standard forklifts and flatbed trucks.
· Inspect equipment to be loaded to ensure safety while unloading, which includes chalking wheels.
· Load finished goods on flatbeds and in vans ensuring the customer receives timely, accurate and damage-free product.
· Responsible for accurately pre-staging mixed loads of various products.
· Ensure product freshness by using a FIFO system when loading and cut in product as necessary.
· Assist in unloading incoming containers.
· Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory: A) Perform cycle counts; B) Perform physical inventory; C) Accurately fill out paperwork and partial tags.
· Stack finished goods pallets accurately and in an organized manner.
· Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment including acknowledgement and safety around pedestrian traffic.
· Responsible for maintaining a neat working environment. Cleaning warehouse and vehicles.
· Ensure pallets and products are clean. Ensure accurate count on pallet tag.
· Shrink wrap pallets.
· Able to read pick slips to pull products.
· Drive company vehicle to deliver products.
· Sweep/mop and generally clean all areas of the warehouse.
· Have good knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements and practice.
· Associates are responsible for adhering to applicable health and safety procedures and will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
· Responsible for following applicable procedures, regulations, and policies as documented.
· Maintains cleanroom standards, practices, and housekeeping according to Standard Operating Procedures.
· Associates are responsible for the work environment and will be responsible for maintaining equipment and cleanliness within their work area.
· Restocks and maintains workstation supplies as needed.
· Performs basic inspection of components to verify quality conformance.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty safely and satisfactorily. Must have CDLB License, medical card and TWIC card. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, shipping load orders, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

Employee must achieve Forklift certification. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear and smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $26.00 per hour
