Schedule: Monday – Friday | 24/7 Operation | On-Call | Some weekends as needed

Seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at their Lamesa, TX mining facility. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing production, safety, budgeting, and maintenance within a 24/7 operation. The ideal candidate will bring extensive mining or heavy industrial experience, excellent communication skills, and a track record of driving operational excellence.
Lead and manage all site operations to ensure production efficiency and quality targets are met.
Oversee safety, environmental compliance, and maintenance programs.
Develop and manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
Plan production schedules and coordinate maintenance activities.
Drive continuous improvement and operational best practices.
Serve as a key liaison between plant leadership and corporate management.
Be available on-call and work weekends as needed.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to physically maneuver throughout the mine and plant.
10+ years of progressive experience in mine operations or maintenance (5+ years in management).
Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences or Engineering.
Mining and leadership experience.
Project management background.
Engineering or operations management experience in similar industries.
Systemic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
