Quality Staffing Specialists is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/X-Ray Technologist for a full-time Direct Hire opportunity with a leading hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Base Pay: $27.00-$38.00 per hour
Compensation is based on years of experience and internal equity.
Shift Differentials
- Nights (11:00 PM-7:00 AM): +$3.60/hour
- Weekends (7:00 AM Saturday-7:00 AM Monday): +$2.40/hour
Commitment Incentive: ***Up to $15,000***** for a 3-year commitment.
Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role also prepares patients for examinations, assists radiologists with specialized procedures, administers contrast media in accordance with state and federal regulations, and delivers exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic radiographic examinations.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Verify patient identity, review medical history, and assess patient condition prior to imaging.
- Administer contrast media and medications as appropriate.
- Assist radiologists during specialized imaging procedures.
- Utilize RIS, PACS, HIS, CIS, and SMS systems to document and manage imaging studies.
- Ensure image quality, proper documentation, and successful transmission to PACS.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report operational issues.
- Respond appropriately to patient emergencies while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Follow departmental protocols, policies, and quality assurance standards.

- Associate's Degree or successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
Certifications
- ARRT (R) Certification
- BLS Certification
- Diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
