Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to a vibrant bar atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
- Monitor customers' alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible service practices
- Assist in maintaining bar inventory and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill food orders for bar guests
- Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Assist in training new bar staff as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience with craft cocktails in a full-service restaurant
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol)
- Age 21 or older
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $6.75 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
