Responsibilities

- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities under supervision.
- Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and managing treatment supplies.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices in physical therapy care.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in accordance with state regulations.
- Prior experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred but not required; relevant internships are welcome.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and connect with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare team members and educating patients effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while demonstrating attention to detail in documentation.
