We are looking for a customer-focused Event Assistant to join our fast-growing sales team to assist customers at promotional campaigns and retail events. As an Event Assistant, you'll represent exciting brands at high-traffic retail locations. You will work closely with our sales team to help increase product visibility, educate customers, and support sales goals. Event Assistant Responsibilities:
- Represent our client's brand at retail and promotional events, by engaging with customers face to face and guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring a positive experience
- Work closely with the sales team and other Event Assistants to enhance sales strategies and continuously improve customer engagement
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere that attracts both new and current customers
- Document sales transactions and customer interactions to support sales performance tracking, customer retention efforts, and to ensure sales goals are met, and customer satisfaction
- Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, offering tailored solutions to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Demonstrate presentations of products and services to ensure customer understanding and to address their needs effectively
- Proactively identify sales opportunities, while consistently working towards and achieving sales goals set for the Event Retail Assistant
Event Assistant Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Event Assistant, in sales, or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales instincts and a passion for people
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
