As a part-time HR Executive you will drive/develop strategic human capital plans that support company goals, providing HR guidance and counsel to leaders, managers, and the HR team regarding succession planning and talent development, organizational design and change, reward and recognition, compensation, organization effectiveness, managing performance and conduct, employee relations, and staffing. Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications. Prefer you work at least 2- 3 days per week. You choose the hours between 9am - 5pm. May be performed remotely but prefer a local person who can come to the office once a month when needed.

Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:
Provide HR guidance/support in the areas of: policy and process interpretation, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement, competency development, talent management, and employment law compliance.
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of HR policies, procedures and best practices; Sound judgment and problem-solving skills; Customer-focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Assist Sr. Team members to coach and consult employees and people managers on performance management, development, morale, employee relations and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll completion
- Provide guidance and direction to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees. Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Learn and support communication and utilization of performance management tools & processes and compensation & rewards programs.
- Learn and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset. Execute change processes, policies and programs to improve business effectiveness.
- Ensure HR services are delivered in compliance with corporate policies and procedures and applicable laws.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with a minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience
- Demonstrated success in building or enhancing a collaborative work environment; have the capacity to understand people issues impacting the business
- Demonstrated the ability to plan, organize, implement and close multiple complex projects simultaneously on various HR work streams and meet schedule and commitments
- Requires the ability to listen, communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively across levels and functions
- Initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations for implementation
- Ability to support a geographically-dispersed client group
