Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Route Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a designated route to deliver food products, build relationships with customers, and promote sales through effective upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to manage their time efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will appreciate the great Teamster benefit package. We train you!
Candidate will have space to park an 18-foot box truck overnight.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle along a designated route to deliver products to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for upselling additional products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform some lifting of products as needed during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, and customer interactions with the aid of handheld computer.
- Utilize math skills to manage cash transactions and ensure accurate billing.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales- route sales experience would be a real bonus.
- Grocery experience, working with perishable items is helpful.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Clean driving record – be prepared to provide a driving abstract.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
