Inside Sales Specialist
T&L Nursery, Inc. is located 30 miles east of Seattle, in the Sammamish Valley, between Redmond and Woodinville. For over 30 years we have taken pride in producing the highest quality plant material for Garden Centers and landscapers in the Pacific Northwest. T&L grows approximately 4 million plants of over 2500 varieties per year making us one of the largest and most diverse growers in the region. Despite these successes, we are still a small, privately-owned business with a focus on culture. We are currently in search of a self-starter who is experienced in providing excellent customer service and has a passion for plants! Industry experience is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Inside Sales & Customer Service
· Ensure best possible experience for walk in customers
· Answer customer phone calls and email inquiries
o Receive customer feedback and distribute to appropriate channels
· Enter, process, and post sales invoices for sales generated through front office
· Assist in management of pulled landscape orders to ensure timely pick-up
· Review of orders for fulfillment issues
o Routine review and clean-up of orders in T&L’s order database
· Contact customers as needed for order shortages/substitutions
· Daily cash box reconciliation
· Participate in internal protocols to mitigate theft
· Work cooperatively with in-house merchandising coordinator to provide excellent presentation of product for on-site customers
Order Entry & Fulfillment
· Enter and assign orders to appropriate crops
· Train customers in the best ways to use website and other order related tools
· Communicate with Shipping & Pulling departments for order changes and add-ons
· Work with Shipping to assist customers with delivery questions/issues
· Support outside sales staff
Flex
· Assist in fulfilling needs of other departments as directed (during Sales’ “off-season”)
o Transplant, Propagation, & Order Fulfillment departments may need extra labor at certain times of the year
o Cross training provided.
Skills & Abilities
· Bilingual in Spanish preferred
· Preference given to Horticulture experience
· Excellent communication skills
· Able to lift up to 30 pounds
· Possesses a strong attention to detail
· Organized, with ability to prioritize and track multiple projects at once
· Computer skills necessary in MS Office
· Works well both independently and as a part of a team
· Self-motivated
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
