Project Manager - Impact Window & Door Industry
PROJECT MANAGER POSITION –
Seeking a candidate able to work independently and can manage multiple projects at once. Is comfortable communicating with customers in their home, as well as installers and Building Inspectors. Drives the project to completion through any obstacle. Able to learn new procedures. Excellent communication, time management & organizational skills is a must.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read a tape measure (to 1/8”)
- Confirm details of contract (frame color, glass color, grids, door swings, SGD configuration)
- Identify and record existing site conditions, areas of concern, special circumstances
- Prepare field change orders for any additional work not stated in original contract
- Read and understand Florida Product Approval and Notice of Acceptance
- Clearly read, write, speak, and understand English
- Able to perform field measurements and create property map for use in ordering process
- Familiarity with impact window/door products a plus… [CGI, PGT, WinDoor, SIW, ES Windows, Mr. Glass, Therma-Tru, PlastPro, etc]
Qualifications:
- 3 years minimum experience in Florida
- Minimum 3 years experience in Customer Service related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in Construction related field preferred
- Experience with building inspections for windows and doors
- Must be able to Climb ladder
- Excellent Communication with homeowners and installers
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
- Must be proficient with Windows and iOS/android
- General construction knowledge
o Must be able to read a tape measure and construction plans
o Experience reading/understanding N.O.A. documentation preferred
o Familiar with window & door terminology
- Computer literacy and proficiency A MUST!
o Proficient in Microsoft Office
o Sales Force and LEAP to Digital experience preferred, but not required
- Ethical
- Problem solver that works well under pressure
- Professional and presentable
- Available for work Mon-Fri with some Saturdays
- Reliable transportation (CLEAN DRIVING RECORD A MUST)'
