Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic for maintaining, repairing, welding industrial machinery and equipment at food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on food production equipment and the building including the compressors, exhausts, forklifts
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed to ensure proper functionality of machinery
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage
- Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Experience with conveyors, motors, sprockets, gear box, air cylinders, piston pump
- Experience with welding
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable drive (VFD), sensors, etc
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
